"Standard" Tour

This tour starts both from Vico del Grottone n°4 and, through a XVIII century stairs, and from via Morelli 40 inside the Morelli car parking. It goes down into old cisterns of the Bolla and Carmignano aqueducts. Then these had been turned into shelters during the Second War World. The Tunnel was built in 1853 by Ferdinand II of Bourbon, who needed a military way from the Royal Palace to the barracks after the revolution of the 1848.In the 50’s the last part was used as Judicial Storage. Galleria Borbonica ends with the tour in Via Morelli. This tour lasts one hour and 15 minutes.

"Adventure" Tour

It is reserved to people who want to improve themselves by passing through Bolla and Carmignano aqueducts tunnels. Then we'll go down in another cistern still full of water and from here we’ll go through the old 90s-LTR metro gallery, where you could embark on a raft and sail under the city. We’ll go up again to visit the last part of the Galleria Borbonica up to a spiral staircase which was built and used as entry to the WWII air-raid shelter.

This tour lasts one hour and 20 minutes.

"Speleo" Tour

With you own lighted helmet, overalls and gloves you will crawl along the ground through aqueduct tunnels to reach the most beautiful cisterns still full of water. We could visit the shelter that our current Italian President, Napolitano, used during the Second World War and a cistern full of rests of shells used to create cameos in the 800’s. We will give you a personal harness to fly upon a cistern thank to a zip-line. This tour lasts two hours and half.

Days: Saturday and Sunday
Tour hours: 11:00 - 16:00

Entry: Vico del Grottone 4 – Napoli (100 m far from Piazza Plebiscito).

Children: not allowed (people must be over 18).
This tour is not allowed to:
- claustrophobic people;
- over 100 kg (220.46 lbs)people;
- people with motor disabilities even if not acute.
